1.Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and DICOS.TECH, an online service based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Jimmy Lu is the public contact for the service. These terms cover your use of the DICOS website and product.

2.Your account

You need an account to use DICOS. You must give accurate details, keep your password to yourself, and take responsibility for what happens under your account. Tell us at DICOS.TECH@proton.me if you think someone else has access to it.

You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you must be authorised to act for the business you create a project for.

Creating an account does not buy anything. An account holds your projects. Nothing is charged until you choose to purchase a launch.

3.What you are buying

One purchase is AUD $49, once, for one business launch. Payment is taken through Stripe. Not a subscription. No free trial, no tiers, no credits.

A purchase supplies, for one business:

  • Research and investigation of your market
  • Strategy, positioning and message hierarchy
  • Website copy written from your research
  • 5 emails, 7 social posts and 4 advertising concepts
  • 3 complete blog posts
  • A responsive generated website
  • Brand direction
  • One launch plan, with a Launch Kit and execution map
  • Downloads of your completed project

Typically about an hour, depending on research and review. Your completed project and its downloads remain accessible to you. One purchase does not include additional launches or unlimited regeneration.

4.Your part in it, and your responsibility for what you publish

DICOS is a guided process, not a vending machine. You answer questions about your business and confirm the strategic decisions before anything is written. The quality of what comes back depends partly on what you put in.

You decide what to publish. Review everything before you use it. You are responsible for the accuracy of facts you give us about your own business — your prices, your guarantees, your credentials — and for making sure what you publish complies with the law that applies to your industry and your market.

DICOS checks generated material against your research and your stated facts, and holds back anything it finds unsupported. That check is a safeguard, not a substitute for your own judgement, and it does not make DICOS responsible for what you choose to publish.

5.What DICOS does not promise

DICOS supplies the components listed above. It does not promise business outcomes, and no honest supplier of this kind of work could. In particular, DICOS makes no promise about:

  • search engine rankings or visibility
  • conversion rates, leads, sales or revenue
  • customer numbers or growth
  • the commercial success of your business
  • that your website will be live, hosted or deployed by us — you download it and publish it yourself

Where research is involved, DICOS reports what it found, including contradictions. It does not guarantee that any market finding is complete or that a market will behave as the research suggests.

6.Acceptable use

You must not use DICOS to do any of the following, or help anyone else to:

  • anything illegal, or anything that would make us break the law
  • infringe someone else’s intellectual property, or upload material you do not have the right to use
  • produce abusive, harassing, deceptive or fraudulent material, or content that misrepresents someone
  • generate claims about a business you do not represent
  • attack, overload, probe or disrupt the service or the accounts of others
  • attempt to extract the underlying system, resell access, or automate use in ways that degrade the service for others

7.Who owns what

You own the output supplied for your project — the copy, the website files, the blog posts, the plan. You can edit them, publish them and use them commercially.

DICOS retains everything that makes DICOS: the software, the code, the systems, the templates, the methods and the underlying intellectual property. Buying a launch does not transfer any of that, and the output you receive does not include a licence to the system that produced it.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give DICOS the limited rights it needs to process your material and generate your project — to store it, send it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and produce your output. Those rights exist for that purpose and no other.

8.Third-party services

DICOS depends on outside services — payments, database and authentication, AI generation, image search and hosting. They are named in the Privacy Policy. Their own terms apply to what they do, and an outage or change at one of them can affect DICOS.

9.Availability and changes

We aim to keep DICOS working and available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change, improve or withdraw parts of the product, and we may update these terms. Where a change materially affects what you have already purchased, we will act reasonably and tell you.

10.Support

Email support at DICOS.TECH@proton.me, with a target response within two business days. There is no priority tier and no separate support product.

11.Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that is being used unlawfully or harmfully, that attacks or disrupts the service, or that puts other people at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

12.The Completion Guarantee, and refunds

DICOS supplies every component listed in the package. If a component fails, DICOS regenerates it. If DICOS cannot supply it, the founder can contact support about a refund.

How to make a request, what to include and what happens next are set out in the Completion Guarantee and refunds policy.

The Completion Guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. It does not replace them, limit them or exclude them.

A full refund or payment reversal stops further access in the product. A purchase that has been fully refunded, cancelled or charged back no longer entitles the project it paid for. A partial refund does not, by itself, remove access to the whole project. While a payment is under dispute, access may be suspended until the dispute is resolved; if it is resolved in our favour, access may be restored.

Anything you have already downloaded stays on your own computer. We cannot recall a file you have saved, and we do not try to. This is about access to the product, not about repossessing your copies.

13.Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

14.Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of that place have jurisdiction over any dispute — without affecting any right you have to bring a claim where you live.

Questions about this policy go to DICOS.TECH@proton.me.
